How is Chicken Marinated

Chicken can be cooked in many different ways. A very delicious way to cook chicken is to marinate it. Marinating chicken involves coating it in a liquid mixture and then letting it sit for some time, typically 30 minutes to several hours. This allows the flavors of the marinade to penetrate the chicken.

Many different types of marinades can be used on chicken. For example, a marinade may include oil and an acid, such as vinegar or lemon juice. It may also include ingredients that add flavor and texture to the chicken, such as garlic, herbs, or spices. In general, the process of marinating chicken is simple. The chicken is placed in a container that can be sealed, such as a plastic bag or bowl with a lid. Then, the marinade ingredients are poured over the chicken and mixed thoroughly. The chicken is then left to marinate for some time, anywhere from several hours to several days.

The longer you leave the chicken in the marinade, the more flavor it will absorb. The chicken is then baked, grilled or fried and served as an appetizer or as part of a meal.

If you prefer to cook the chicken before marinating it, you should use the same basic marinade recipe but with a few alterations. Instead of adding the chicken to the marinade, place it into a saucepan and simmer it until it's reduced by half.

Once the chicken is cooked, please put it in a large bowl and pour the warm marinade over it. To make the chimichurri, blend all ingredients in a food processor and season to taste.

Heat a grill or barbecue until smoking hot. Grill the chicken on both sides for 2 to 4 minutes each side, depending on how well done you like your chicken. Serve with chimichurri.
